| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Female |
Maya is an amazing dog that was rescued from death row in Arlington, TX. When rescued she was emaciated and had obviously just had a litter that was not picked up by animal services. Despite her condition she was loving, sweet and very hungry! She has filled out, although still a little thin, and is just stunning. She is a shy girl that loves hugs and kisses, is great with dogs and kids. If you are interested in becoming Maya's pack leader, please visit www.cdrcp.org to learn about this rare and amazing breed and to fill out an application. Or email to find out more!
Rescue Group Info...
The Carolina Dog Rescue and Conservation Project was created to protect the free-ranging Carolina Dog.
We have several pervasive goals
1.Provide a hub for prospective adoptive families to find Carolina Dogs in need of homes
2.Locate populations of free-ranging Carolina Dogs in the American southeast.
3.Raise awareness and educate the public about these rare and elusive native dogs.
We have a beautiful 10 acre facility in Caldwell, TX dedicated to the rehabilitation and preservation of Carolina Dogs and other primitive breeds.
We require a contract as well as an adoption fee and screening. A fenced yard and exercise is a must.
We are a resue group for Carolina Dogs, our U.S. Dingo. We adopt nationwide.
