Look who is looking for you! We bring 65 dogs to the St. Louis area every Saturday. If you would like to meet this dog, just let us know. We are at PetSmart in O’Fallon on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of each month and at PetSmart in Chesterfield on the 3rd and 4th Saturday. We are at PetCo in St. Charles /St. Peters on Mid River Mall Drive on Saturday afternoon. .

Tillie is a lovely girl. She is very quiet, calm and well behaved. She happily spends her day on the couch and asks for nothing. She is very happy when I join her and then, only when we are together, she will grumble at the other dogs that want to take her place. It is conversation only but it lets me knows that she cares.

A very good girl,Tillie is a retired breeder’s girl. She had lots of attention and acts as if she has always been in a home. Her adoption fee is $225 because she just had a dental ( as well as her spay, rabies, etc.) and so – her adoption fee doesn’t quite cover her medical expenses. She is a lovely Cavalier. If she is the girl for you, just….

Spay/neutered, all vaccines current to date, information on these great breeds is below.

Housetrained? Tillie lived in a kennel with an indoor/outdoor option and a dog door. She knows to go out but will have to learn to ask you to open the door. Every dog has to learn a new routine in a new home. They don’t know the schedule or how to ask you to open the door. To succeed at housetraining, use a crate, go out with your dogs and - expect more of yourself than you do of your dog. Housetraining tips are in your adoption packet.

Adoption Fees and Payment Plans: We take credit cards and checks. Payments can be arranged with a credit card. As with all of our adoptions, we know it is hard to get married on a blind date... even to a wonderful pup. We will take our dog back during the first month and refund your adoption fee less $75. To hold a pup, we ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit if delivery is not made during the same week.

About the breed: The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an eager, affectionate tail-wagger. Lively, outgoing and sportive. These little dogs want to please. They understand what you want and therefore are usually easy to train and respond well to gentle obedience training. They are said to be naturally well behaved and get along well with other dogs and non-canine pets. Cavalier's love people and need lots of companionship to be happy. They should not be left alone all day. They are descended from hunting dogs and love to romp in the great outdoors. This breed sometimes displays a chasing instinct and should be kept well enclosed or leashed. They do best with older considerate children and some can be reserved with strangers. They do well in competitive obedience.
