Cooley's Story...
Cooley just arrived here over the weekend with his brother Shelton from South Carolina and they are having a blast. These boys are both very high energy, fun dogs. Either would be great for a family with children, they would play for hours. They were found running the streets together in Greenville and taken to the local shelter where they were close to being PTS. They had a very long trip on the transfer van to get here, but did great. Cooley is roughly 2 years old, a neutered male, current on vaccinations and micro chipped. He is currently being treated for heartworms and will be ready for adoption soon. If you are interested in Cooley you can fill out an application on our website www.animalattractiontn.com located under the contact us tab. Or call 931-698-8300 to make an appointment to meet him in person. An adoption fee of $150 is required which goes toward saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooley, a Columbia Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
