Gator's Story...
Best dog ever! Gator is an absolutely awesome, sweet as pie, just wonderful 8 yr old Lab/Bulldog mix. His family dumped him at a local animal control for reasons we just cant fathom because we just don't understand how you give this lovely dog up! We couldnt bear to see him living in a cage so took him into our program. He is such a sweet boy and does seem to fancy himself a lap dog. He is pretty mellow but does get a litle excited when he thinks he gets to go for a walk or a ride in the car. He is great with other dogs and beautifully houestrained. if you can see past his age you will see what a gem you get with Gator! Oh, Gator is also neutered, fully vetted and chipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gator, a Woodstock English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
