Reese was due to be put down within hours of being pulled from a shelter in NC in April 2012. She was heartworm positive and very sick. She is completely healthy now and microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is around 5 years old and about 40 lbs. She is dog reactive and would benefit from training to help her overcome her fear of other dogs. She has not been around cats, so we're not sure how she would act. Reese has been around children ages 2-17 years and does fine with them. However, we probably would not recommend a home with small children because she does have a lot of energy. She tends to jump up on people, which we are working on. She is crate and house trained. Reese needs to go a home with a family who is active because she loves to run with her foster mom. She does well on a leash. She loves to play, but also loves to cuddle. Reese is a survivor and looking for her forever family.
