Millie's Story...
Hi My name is Millie and I am an adorable TWO MONTH old female White labrador mix pup weighing 8 pounds

I am so cute and my foster moms say I am extremely smart and already 90% housetrained.

I am very social, and when I get carried to petstores, my favorite times :-) I poke out my paw to hold onto everyone and say hello.! People seem to make strange noises of Ooh! Ahh! whenvever I do this, but i dont mind because they seem very happy when they say hello back

I have been vetted and had my first round of shots, and next round next week

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a New York Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New York, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
