My story

Hello everyone, I’m Lothar! I’m from the Montana puppy mill seizure along with lots of other Moonsong dogs. I’ve had lots of new and exciting experiences at my foster home. I’ve met lots of dogs and have done well with dogs of all sizes. I would play all day if you let me! I even met a cat! The cat is pretty interesting, but I’m getting used to it. I may be able to live with a cat one day, but I’d need some help remembering that cats are friends. I have also been enjoying my human siblings, and I’m learning to play gently with them. But I am a large, powerful dog.

My foster mom is a dog trainer - how neat is that? She is teaching me cool tricks like how to sit, shake, lay down, and sing! I also know how to load up in the car, and I’m learning that I cannot put my mouth on people even when I’m playing, and that I can’t pick up whatever I find on the floor. If I do, my foster mom is teaching me to release whatever I found, and I’m pretty good at that (remember I’m a malamute, so this is very impressive). I’m also potty trained and crate trained, and ready to come home with you! I still need some leash training, and need to work on some of my manners in the house, but I am a good dog, and I will do what I can to make you happy.
