LIBERTY's Story...
Hi! Thanks for giving me some attention! I'd like you to know that I've already been spayed or neutered. At Animal Friends, dogs and cats also leave fully up-to-date on shots and microchipped. All I need now is to find someone who will love me. Please ask to meet with an adoption counselor, so we can be properly introduced and talk about what kind of pet you're looking for. We can discuss whether you're looking for a lap pet or a social butterfly, an 'only pet' or a furry 'sibling' for kids or other animals. Best of all, by adopting from Animal Friends, you make it possible for them to rescue and care for another pet who truly needs help. So, what are you waiting for? Let's sit down together! *****************************************************
This beautiful girl is Liberty (Libby for short). She appears to be a Spitz mix with some herding breed or maybe Jack Russell Terrier. She is around 2 years of age and has had a very rough start. She has been in a foster home for six months learning to become a normal dog. She has progressed tremendously from not being able to be touched to becoming a member of the family and pack.
She is fearful of people and will take time to come out of her shell, but she is very playful, attentive, sassy and happy once she does. She is not comfortable with children but NEEDS the company of a playful, sociable dog who is a bit bigger than her. This will help her adjust to her new home and also help her to expend her endless energy.
Libby will be an ongoing project and will require an adopter that is knowledgeable and comfortable with a fearful dog. She is very much worth the effort and will work her way into your heart.
If you think she might be for you and you might be right for her, please contact the adoption department.
Someone believes in her so much, that they have sponsored her adoption. She is truly priceless!
