Sophie's Story...
Sophie was found as a stray in the city of Rochester, NY. Rescue-a-bull received a plea to help get this girl out of the shelter.

Sophie is a spunky 12 week old puppy who loves to run around, chase toys. When she gets tired, she likes to cuddle up in your lap and fall asleep. She is cute enough to allow her to snuggle up for as long as she would like!

If you are interested in making Sophie one of your family, our application to adopt can be found here:

www.rescue-a-bull.org/adoption

Our adoption fee for adults is $175 and puppies (6 months and younger) is $250. The adoption fee will be used to defray the costs associated with medical care for our dogs. All dogs in our care will receive spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), DHPP vaccines and microchipping before being placed in their approved adoptive homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a North Middletown American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in North Middletown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in North Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
