Bella's Story...
Bella is a 3 year old AKC registered Siberian Husky who was dumped at a shelter when she began having behavior problems after the addition of a baby to the household. Bella is your typical Husky and she needs lots of excercise and guidance to show her the way to behave. She was obviously manhandled and her previous family most likely allowed the baby to crawl all over her which caused her to have severe trust issues. Bella came to us not houebroken, snapping at everybody when you touched her collar or anywhere on her. Within a few days she was trusting us enough that we could touch her, walk her, etc. She has come a long way since coming into rescue and is such a joy to have here. She is not going to be a dog for a first time pet owner or someone with young kids due to her unpredictability and trust issues but with love and patience she will be an awesome family member.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Hampton Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Hampton, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Hampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
