Cherry's Story...
Cherry is a sweet 3 month old silly girl looking for a new home to call her own. Someone dumped her at the rest stop in Arlington, but lucky for this little girl some nice people found her and brought her here. Cherry will need regular daily exercise to keep her happy and healthy, remember huskys were bred to pull sleds in artic temperatures, so this girl is no couch potato. A home with a fenced yard is the best situation for Cherry and we will not be placing her in an apartment. Cherry would love another dog to play with in her new home, and a ideal match is a male dog of similar size. A dog savvy cat would be okay, and kids who ahve lived with a big dog and can help exercise her would be good as well. It will be required that Cherry's new family sign ehr up for a positive based puppy kindergarten class before her adoption can be finalized. This will help with socialization and bonding with her new family. If you think you have the time and energy that will go into raising a puppy like Cherry please ask the front desk for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry, a Bellingham Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Husky puppy from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
