Hunter's Story...
Hunter is approximately 5 years old. He came from a hoarding situation in Fayetteville, AR where there were over 60 Chihuahuas. When he was first rescued he had very little fur due to severe flea dermatitis. He's been neutered. His fur has grown back. He's up to date on his shots and Rabies vaccine. He's a very cuddly guy who loves to snuggle. Hunter is about 9 pounds. Please consider adopting Hunter and giving him a forever home. About Our Rescue Group...
Arkansas Chihuahua Rescue's mission statement: To rescue abandoned, abused, unwanted, lost, neglected, injured or shelter Chihauhuas by rehabilitating and providing medical care, spay/neutering and to place these Chihuahuas in loving, caring, forever homes.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We don't show pets as of now. We usually find new adopters via word of mouth or from our Facebook page.
Our Adoption Process...
We charge an adoption fee which varies on the age and health of the dog. We require 3 references and a vet reference. We do not adopt Chihuahuas to homes with toddlers or large aggressive dogs. We have a contract that outlines our expectations of the adopter. We require that the adopted pet never be relinquished to a shelter. Our adoption fee includes a health certificate from a licensed vet, spay/neuter, combo shot, Rabies vaccine and certificate, microchip and appropriate state- required tests such as Lyme and Erlichia tests.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We serve the Little Rock/N. Little Rock area
We will adopt to New England States and use a transport service.
