Zaria's Story...
Zaria is the second of the two blonde girls, and wherever you see Zena, you usually find Zaria right next to her. They enjoy playing together, sleeping together and seem to be the two most compatible siblings. The only other thing that Zaria prefers over her sister is contact with the family. She loves being held and snuggling for warmth and belly rubs. But if she gets squirmy, it must be potty time because that’s her version of the “potty dance”. Zaria and her siblings quickly took to paper training, but much prefer to “go” outside…and she gets vocal when she needs to get your attention! Zaria also has a beautiful, golden fluffy coat with reddish highlights. She has white points her feet, chest and nose. But most interesting of her markings is the thin heart shaped blaze on her forehead. This cute little girl is going to be one pretty dog when she grows up.

Don’t forget to check out her brothers & sisters and their story….

This litter of puppies was once a box of seven Labrador/Boxer mixes recently dumped by their owner at a high-kill shelter. After spending a chilly weekend at the shelter because two other rescues fell through, we knew they needed out ASAP! Thankfully we were able to find a foster and sponsor for this lovely litter. At approximately 6 weeks old, these sweet babies are full of love, fun & puppy breath! Available for adoption in the near future, put your application in now for one of the Magnificent Seven!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zaria, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
