Pinto Bean's Story...
Pinto Bean was dumped at a kill shelter with his siblings. Their mom is Australian Shepherd and dad a hound. They are all such cute, sweet babies that the staff contacted rescue in hopes of saving them. Pinto Bean is 4 months old and weighs 18 lbs. As true to the Hound nature, he will be loving, loyal, really smart, and with a goofy sense of humor that will keep you laughing. Hounds actually make good house dogs and are great with children, and are fairly easy to house train. Although Hounds are not a real high-energy dog, they do need a place to stretch their legs and / or have regular long walks with their humans. Pinto Bean is UTD on all puppy shots and is neutered.

Pinto Bean, a Brattleboro Black and Tan Coonhound/Anatolian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Anatolian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
