Auston the Cocker Spaniel!'s Story...
Auston Paraoh is a cocker spaniel with an intact tail who was abandoned as a baby. He grew up in an apartment with a cat and another dog, so he’s really good with other animals! He's an energetic guy and enjoys playing with his toys. His person is moving and can’t take him with her, so now he’s looking for a new home or foster.

If you’d like to meet Auston, please contact Belinda, at Belinda@cooperdooper.org.

Thanks so much for thinking of an animal in need!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Auston the Cocker Spaniel!, a Brooklyn Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
