Cooper's Story...
My name is Cooper, and as cats go? I am pretty amazing. Now, I know you're probably looking for a spectacular cat. One that is unique, original, and just, well... pretty great.

I think I'm that cat. And I'm available in an extra-large. Plus I like to talk.

Now if you want to know what they call my style of cat, I'm a "van" which is a fancy name for a cat with a butterfly-style hat and a dark tail and a white body. Interesting for conversation, or should you ever have it come up as a question on Jeopardy.

One look at my pink nose and my black mouth, and you know I'm unusual. Plus? I'm laid back. I won't pester you to death. I do like fresh water though, So I will encourage you to increase your water intake, that's a good thing, right? So twice a day you and I will have a fresh glass of water, with ice, and drink up. We'll be healthy, right?

I purr, and I am clean. I like to play with toy mice or even a pull ring off a milk carton. Simple things make me happy. Laying in the sun in the window sill. Sitting next to you while we watch tv. Watching the birdies outside the window.

I don't make messes and I am a great companion. I use my litter pan faithfully, and I sleep on a towel or I'll sleep next to you on the bed if you'd like. Your call. Just tell me what you would like.

So what do you say? Adopt me? I promise to give you unconditional love for the next 16 to 18 years or so. All you have to do is feed me, give me fresh water twice day, keep my pan clean, and take me to the vet for routine checkups and a teeth cleaning now and then. Easy.

In return I'll keep your blood pressure low, help you live longer, and keep the depression away - honest. Doctors have proven it. Plus you and I will spend lots of hours wondering why people do what they do on tv. You talk, I'll listen. Sometimes I'll talk, but I'm never annoying. Just to let you know what I have to say.

My name's Cooper. You can even change my name. I'm already neutered, have had all my shots, and I'm ready to come live with you. Just promise you'll keep me indoors, don't smoke around me, and never declaw me. My fee is only $100. Negotiable if you'll adopt one of my pals living at the same foster. We like to stay together, you know.

Want to meet me? Text 940-482-0025 and let's set up an appointment. Deal?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Arlington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
