Absolutely Beautiful Sandra's Story...
Sandra was a refugee from the streets; she was probably abandoned. She’s absolutely gorgeous, with her black fur and piercing green eyes; she’s also very sweet and quiet. She loves to be petted - she'll lick your hands when she wants petting! She generally gets along with other kitties – she’s lived with a bunch of them. She’s a bit shy with humans at first, but once you get to know her, she’s a total love!

Sandra is 2-3 years old. She’s had all her shots, is spayed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All ready for a warm and loving new home!

If you’d like to meet Sandra, please contact Belinda, at Belinda@cooperdooper.org.

Thank you for thinking of a kitty in need. Every dime we take in goes towards rescuing the next abandoned sweetheart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Absolutely Beautiful Sandra, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
