Carley's Story...
Carley is a 7-8 month old as of (Jan 25, 2013) hound mix who is such a sweet dog. She came in with her sister, Marley, who has been adopted. Carley gets along well with other dogs and is very friendly. She is very pretty too. We don't know whether she likes cats because she isn't near them at the shelter. Carley lives in Madison, Mississippi, but transport can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking Carley into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carley, a Groton Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Groton, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
