Josephine's Story...
JOSEPHINE
4 month old female Brown Mackerel Tabby Manx
With stripes, spots galore and her stubby manx tail complete with curly q tip, this adorable beauty is quite the precious gem. Josephine is a playful kitten, but she also loves to snuggle. She is an active kitten, playing with balls, string, and, when available, cats, dogs, and people. Josephine makes sure you know when she's happy, with a loud purr that can be heard and felt. She gets along with other cats (and wants to play with them, so make sure your cat likes to play!), and cat-friendly dogs. In fact, her ideal home would have another playful cat and human children would be a definite plus!
You must like a nighttime snuggle kitty, because Josephine loves to get up on the bed and curl up with you at night. She occasionally bounds off the bed to explore and make sure the house is secure. With copper eyes and big heart, Josephine is looking for a warm, loving home that needs a playful kitty who can also give out lots of warm purrs and love.
Josephine eats wet and dry food, and is litter box perfect. She is healthy, spayed, FELV/FIV negative, and microchipped.
Josephine is being fostered in the Salinas area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josephine, a Vacaville Manx kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manx for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Manx kitten from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manx breeders who help with Manx rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
