ARGO is a precious JRTCA-registered pure-bred Jack Russell Terrier. His registered name is Timber Ridge Argo and he has a trial certificate from the JRTCA for qualification and participation in sanctioned trials (racing, agility, go-to-ground, etc.).
So Argo has a strong pedigree, but the thing we like about Argo is that he is one of the sweetest, happiest, most precious, playful little gentlemen we have ever met. He is only 12.5" at the withers and weighs a perfect 13 pounds. Argo is 8 years young.
Argo once hunted and ran races but had fallen on hard times. He was adopted to a home at age 4 where he was treated badly. A good Samaritan rescued him from his negligent owners and got him to the Florence (SC) Humane Society. He has had extensive veterinary examination and is very healthy. He is now negative on heart worm and was remarkably negative on any other parasites. His blood work is all normal and is available to the new owner.
The most remarkable thing about Argo is he shows no signs of mistreatment. He is loving and trusting. He loves to play with his best girl Polly and buddy Cairo. He and Polly can play in the yard for hours. He will also cuddle up in your arms and just melt. He is very affectionate and very loving. He calms down beautifully indoors. His "wild" days are behind him, but he still has incredible Jack Russell energy and seems so much younger than his years.
Argo is a special fellow and is looking for a loving forever home where he can share his love and joy for the rest of his years. If you are looking for an adult male Jack Russell, you could not find a finer dog. He's a rare and special fellow.
