Hi Friends! My name is Oreo. I was born right around the month of January 2012. My previous family abandoned me on the street. My foster Mom found me and realized that I was too friendly and sweet to be living alone on the streets. I was hungry and scared and she told me that the streets are very dangerous for a friendly cat. I have a GREAT personality! I am very energetic because I am still very young. I love to play and jump up to my foster Moms lap every time she sits down. I get along well with other cats both big and small. I have no experience with dogs but would be willing to give them a chance because I am so outgoing. I am looking for a forever home where I will be safe and loved, and where I can be sure that I will never be put outside again!
Oreo is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
