Lita's Story...
Our lovely little Lita is a 1 1/2 year old female lab mix that came up from Georgia with several of her friends. We promised Lita a new home, so we can't let her down! Lita is such a lovebug. This girl wants nothing more than to hug you, cuddle with you, and be your best friend forever and ever. She is dripping with sweetness and can't stop herself from smiling constantly! Lita is a well behaved little lady that walks nicely on a leash and plays very gently. She gets along great with other dogs and adores people of all ages. Lita enjoys her time immensely in our exercise yard and has a blast checking out our assortment of toys. This young pup would make a wonderful addition to any family that will love and care for her always. 1/20/13 File#22234

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lita, a Forked River Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
