Roscoe's Story...
Hi, my name is Roscoe and I'm a very nice year old, 45-50 pound, shepherd/cattle dog mix. I am well mannered, doggy door trained, good on a leash, get along with other dogs and ignore cats. I haven't been around kids much, but seem fine with them. Sometimes, I will bark (and back up!) at someone I don't know, but it seems to be from lack of confidence, so I am getting better all the time. If you are looking for a great young dog to add to your family, I am eager to please and ready to learn! I am neutered, current on shots and micro chipped. My adoption donation is $200. Please call or text (925) 209-6480 or email Diane@TARescue.com for more information or to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Phoenix Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
