Sophie's Story...
High Energy, Kid Friendly, Good With Other Animals
Hello, my name is Sophie. I am a 9 month old, 25 pound female Heeler mix. I found myself in rescue after I had been bought off of Craigslist after a fella got me as a present for his gal, and then my people split up two weeks later. I am a bright and active gal looking for an adopter who can take me to the dog park to play a few times a week, on daily walks or jogs, and hiking on the weekend. I am good with older kids, but I find toddlers a bother. I LOVE playing with other dogs, so I hope my adopters have another dog for me to play with. I am very bright and love to learn new things. I am crate trained, know basic commands, and am house broken. My adoption fee is $250 and includes my spay, my vaccinations, heartworm preventative, microchip, and a basic obedience class. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Ft. Collins Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
