My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Bandit. I’m a little over a year old and very energetic. I spent the first 14 months of my life in a kennel run by the nice people at the Humane Society in Helena, MT. They had a lot of other dogs to take care of so I didn’t get to learn any manners. I’m currently living with my foster family which includes a grouchy old lady Malamute, a 4-year-old male Mal, and a 4-month-old pup. The grouchy old lady likes me and plays with me. The 4-year-old boy and I got off to a rocky start because I played too rough with his little sister. My foster mom has taught me “sit”. But it’s hard for me to stand still because I have to make up for all the running and playing that I missed out on when I was little. I love to run with the old lady dog and play ball. Mom is still trying to teach me not to jump on her, but it’s hard not to because I am so happy and everything is new to me.
