Cody's Story...
Innocent, gentle, sweet and agile are all adjectives that describe Cody. This loving boy is truly one of a kind. With his huge heart, he has never met a dog or child he hasn't loved. With a long hard past of neglect, Cody is shy upon meeting adults. Once he knows you mean only everything that is good, he becomes the ultimate canine companion striving to make you happy and proud. Cody is an active boy who loves to run and play, but at home he wants nothing more than to lay quietly with his head on your feet. Cody needs a patient and loving parent who can show him that along with dogs and kids, adults are not so bad. Cody has a kind and innocent heart, he is looking for a family to give him what he always provides — unconditional love! If you can be that person, come meet Cody. He is waiting for you!

If you are interested in meeting Cody, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Marina del Rey Australian Cattle Dog/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Greyhound for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Greyhound breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
