Olivia's Story...
Olivia is a little dynamo, curious and full of energy. She's about ten pounds and absolutely adorable. She's sharing her her foster home with two other small dogs and she enjoys the activity! She wears a dress on special days and enjoys a nice Christmas sweater :). Olivia has a beautiful NEW natural coat too. She had severe flea dermatitis when she arrived at her FOR foster home. With standard flea prevention, she's looking and feeling much better. She's house trained, easy to bathe, and is a little joy to have around. Olivia is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and has been examined by a licensed vet. If you can offer Olivia a forever home, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. We'd love for you to meet her! Olivia is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Homewood Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
