Bruiser's Story...
Bruiser - 20121647

Hi there, my name is Bruiser. I am a 3 year old Rottweiler mix who currently weighs 75 lbs. I was having a hard time getting along with the other dogs I lived with so unfortunately I couldn't stay. I am very housebroken, and was getting leash walks at potty time. Since I am so very strong and can pull you around a lot a gentle leader works best for me. When I was left alone I was kept in the bathroom (this kept me seperate from the other dogs). I hope this won't be the case anymore. I've lived with men, women, and a teenager but have never been exposed to younger children. I'm very intelligent and know my basic commands including paw/shake. I also love water, riding in the car and playing with tennis balls. What makes me extra special is that I am one of Suncoast's Shelter Angels. You see thanks to this donation program, I was able to receive eye surgery that I desperately needed. Now I am ready to rock and roll! I can't wait to find my new owners, stop on by and pay me a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruiser, a Englewood Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Englewood, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Englewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Englewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Englewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Englewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
