Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Thor's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Thor's Story...
Thor is a 2-3 year old German Shepherd! He is crate trained and house broken. He gets very excited for play time, going outside, and food time and will jump around to let you know he is happy!

He knows his basic commands and will try to do anything to please you for a treat, he knows he needs to sit and wait for his food bowl to be placed on the floor.

Thor has not shown any food/toy/water aggression with people or dogs. He walks beautifully on leash and loves to go for long walks to work out his energy.

He would love to go to an active family with a large fenced in yard who will spend lots of time with him in and outdoors.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
