Ruby's Story...
Ruby - 20130045

Hi! My name is Ruby and I'm a 46 lb. Black Labrador mix. My family is going through a divorce and now I'm looking for a new forever home. I am housebroken and I have lived with men, women and older children, but I may be too much for younger children because I am very playful, but cautious of new surroundings. I know the sit command and I love to go for car rides. I don't care for water, though. I have lived with another dog and we had so much fun. Please consider me for your new best friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Englewood Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Englewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Englewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Englewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Englewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Englewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
