Sophia's Story...
Sohia is 4 wks old and weighs 2-3 lbs. (1/15/13) She is in a family environment w/ siblings and mother dog. This puppy is handled daily by the owner and is socialized to other dogs. Mom is a beagle, and dad is a beagle mix. Both parents have very good temperaments. We expect her to be 20-25 lbs as adult(-but cannot GUARANTEE). Good w/other dogs, cats, and children. Playful, loving, and gives puppy kisses! We are hoping to have a home for this puppy when ready to leave mom. All pets come w/up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. Adults are also sterilized and heartworm tested prior to placement. For more information/application visit our website at www.saveamuttkennel.info . TRANSPORTATION TO THE NORTHEAST IS AVAILABLE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Sussex Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Sussex, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Sussex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sussex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sussex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sussex paves the way for another one to be saved.
