Hi, my name is Bubba! I am a 66 lb. Chocolate/Black Laborador mix. Due to divorce, I no longer have a home. I am housebroken but I don't like going out when it's raining, so I need to be walked on my leash. I have lived with men, women and a child age 10 yrs and I'm great with all. I love to snuggle in bed. I know all basic commands and I love to play fetch and chase laser lights. I like to get baths, but I don't know how to swim. I love to go for rides in the car. I really don't like thunderstorms and I become very shaky and people clingy not wanting to leave your side. I have lived with other dogs and we had a lot of fun. I am on a special diet for sensitive skin. I am looking for my forever home, so please come play with me.

About Our Shelter...
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.

We are open to the public for adoptions (or just come to visit the animals) as follows:
Tuesday - Friday 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Adoptions stop @ 4:30 PM)
Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (adoptions stop @ 3:30 PM)
CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY
