Luke's Story...
Luke-Purebred Min PIn male, 2 1/2 yr.

Luke was left at a high kill rural shelter. A gorgeous young male, about 2 1/2 years old, the people in Rescue are still baffled why this happened to Luke. He's been in a foster home, doing great. He likes the other dogs and doesn't bother cats. He seems to like all people, too. Luke's adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Germantown Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
