IDGSR WELCOMES HOGAN INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!
This handsome boy was picked up as a stray and brought by wonderful volunteers by transport to IDGSR. He is very underweight at around 70 lbs; probably will be close to 90-100 lbs at optimal weight. He is very good natured and LOVES to ride in the car. He walks well on a leash. Hogan is a fine boy who deserves to be in a good home with his own bed with plenty of food and love. He will be a wonderful companion.
UPDATE HOGAN: Hogan has been eating great and gained back alot of his weight and is doing well, he gets along fine with both male and female dogs however not other male alpha dogs. He will do great with a female companion or as an only dog where he can be doted on and loved. He is a great watch dog and will let you know if someone is there, he's friendly to strangers when told its' ok. He runs like the wind, walks well on a leash. We feel he would do best in a home without small children not because he's mean, but because he's a big lumbering guy and sometimes charges thru and might knock a small child over, Older kids are fine.
If you would like to add this good-looking boy to your family, please file an application.
