Jasper's Story...
Jasper is a 3 year old Chihuahua/pug mix with a face so adorable you’ll want to plant a kiss on it. Although, Jasper might beat you to the punch, he’s full of love and isn’t afraid to show it. His “the more, the merrier” attitude makes him the perfect candidate for some furry friend sibling, not to mention he has a special soft spot for kids and kitties…or just about anyone willing to shower him with attention. Jasper is a playful character full of energy. He loves to be active, go on walks, and get attention (typical pug loving nature). He’s a 15 pound handsome boy (have you seen that face!) who is lean and healthy. This kind soul has a little spring in his step and he'll spring his way right into your heart. Jasper is neutered and will be ready for adoption after he’s vaccinated this week. If you want to see this adorable face in person, fill out the application form via www.pugrescueaustin/com/adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Austin Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
