Booo's Story...
BOO – DSH, grey, female, spayed,up to date with vaccines and DOB June 1, 2005. Boo is beautiful, almost blue in colour, and her purr is louder than a train! Although she is very timid, and scared by loud noises, she will love you completely when she gets to know you. She doesn’t like to be picked up, but she really enjoys rubbing against your feet as her sign of affection, and will enjoy sitting next to you on the couch. She currently lives in a house with a young baby and a dog (and her ‘brother’ Freddie), but I don’t think she would like to be in a house with another cat unless it was Freddie. Her new owner will need to be patient with her shyness and let her settle in before her true personality comes out. Boo must be adopted out together with his housemate Freddie, who she has been with since she was 3 months old.
If you wish to apply to adopt Boo (and Freddie), please visit our website at and click on her bio for an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Booo, a Duart Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Duart, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Duart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duart paves the way for another one to be saved.
