Quincy was rescued from a shelter where he had lived for over a year. He is a VERY loving boy and has even helped foster several small orphaned kittens, he was really good about caring for them. Quincy loves to hug your leg, and when picked up he automatically hugs your neck. He gets along well with other kittens and just ignores dogs. Quincy is a very well adjusted loving kitty, and loves to be held and cuddled. He loves to play like a wild child! Quincy is listed as special needs because he has a tendency to have excessive yeast in his ears and it is recommended an acidic ear cleaner (available at any pet store or vet) be applied to both ears for maintenance. Also, he has medial luxating (displaced) patellas in both legs. The patella is normally in the groove on the kneecap, but his are on the inside of his knees. This is most likely a birth defect that he has learned to live with and it does not affect his ability to walk, run, jump, etc.; he simply walks like an old cowboy that has been on his horse too long. The vet has ascertained there are no meds, other than glucosamine, at this time to help him and he will probably eventually have arthiritis in both knees. He's a wonderful boy looking for a loving home.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
