Emmett's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Emmett's Story...
Emmett is the cutest kitten on the planet. He is a fiesty little guy and a love bug to boot. Emmett has spina bifida which is a condition where the bones in the spine do not form properly around the spinal cord. Fortunately for our intrepid little kitty, after a thorough examination by a veterinarian Emmett was given a clean bill of health and is expected to live a long and happy life. All Emmett's condition means is that he will walk with a wiggle and run like a deer instead of how cats normally walk/run. Please consider giving this delightful boy a home. You could look for 1,000 years and won't find a sweeter kitten to add to your family.

In addition to being neutered and up to date on all shots, Emmett is microchipped, has been tested for FeLV/FIV, wormed, checked for ear mites and treated with flea meds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmett, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
