Reggie's Story...
Reggie is a small adult dog looking for a place to call home and a family of his own. Rescued from a dumpster as a young pup the knew that the world was looking up. All of the neighbors knew his story and enjoyed his visits from house to house. In a few months time his rescuer found the new pup as just one more dog and he was left to fend for himself. The neighbors all liked him as a cute neighbor dog but didn't have room for another in their home. Reggie found himself in a predicament as he was tied to a porch after visiting a neighborhood female in heat. Fortunately someone saved him before his fate was sealed and they called Faithful Friends.

In the last few days Reggie has been in a foster home enjoying every bit of attention sent his way. This 22 lb Beagle mix is enjoying regular meals and sleeping in a kennel. He loves to chew on the small raw hides and follows the other dogs outside to potty. Reggie is a great passenger and looks out the windows for a few before relaxing in the seat. After a bath he whines as you dry him off as if to say... "this feels wonderful!" Reggie is about 2 years old and has been neutered. He is ready for to be shown what it feels like to be loved and adored unconditionally.

Update: Reggie is such a trusting pup. I lay him on his back and he falls asleep as his belly is rubbed. When someone is at the door he is great to warn and then loves to meet new people. He has learned to take turns on sitting for his treat and waiting until all the food bowls are filled and in place at meal time. Reggie will make a wonderful companion for a whole family or just the one person willing to make his world whole.
