My name is Babbles. In early May my mom June crawled into an attic and gave birth to me and my siblings. We went to the shelter in June (I guess that's where they got my mom's name). I've been playing and growing and having a great time. Everytime someone walks in the door I beg them to take me home but it seems I keep getting looked over. Won't you give me a chance? DOB 4-1-12. The Henry County Humane Society - Geneseo, IL is a small, NO-Kill Animal Shelter. Our Humane Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit agency located at 14606 Roos Hill Road in Geneseo, Illinois, and is operated on donations from the public. Come Meet Our Pets...
We are open every day (365 days a year) from 4pm to 6pm for you to meet and interact with our shelter animals. If that time does not work for you give us a call and we can arrange something. Finding that perfect furever home for our shelter animals is our number one priority. We will always go above and beyond for them.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fees are cats $50, unaltered kittens $60, dogs $100, puppies $125.
An adoption application (either on-line at our website or at the shelter) must be filled out and approved to start the adoption process. ALL references (vet and personal) will be checked. ALL pets in your home must be current with all vaccinations and be spay/neutered. If you are approved you will be contacted by phone or email.
