Baby Girl's Story...
Baby Girl is not a big dog , not even lab size but she looks like a short one, a great mix of size, smarts and devoted dog. She is about a year old and she loves to be held as this picture shows. She will no doubt be a good one for the family who adopts her. the Lincoln County Shelter has a great adoption friendly interaction room you can take your other pet or your family to visit with them. The dogs at the shelter could be housebroken, they could be great with other animals even cats, it's just something they dont' know because they are kept in small pens. We find that many we take and foster are already housebroken, and good with other animals or learn quickly to be. The shelter is at 650 John Howell Memorial DRive ,(off Wilma Sigmon Rd) in Lincolnton. It is newly remodeled too. Hours of operation for adopting are 11 to 4:30 , Mon-sat. Ph: 704 736 4125. you can adopt the same day and the dog then goes to the vet to be spayed or neutered and you pick up at the vets. the shelter does not accept credit cards. For only 85.00 you get the spay or neuter, rabies vaccines, disearse preventative vaccination a worming, a microchip and even 30 days of free pet health insurance. YOu cannot beat such a agreat deal anywhere. don't delay, these dogs dont have forever in this shelter which is forced to euthanize due to pet over population. ! For more info, contact "tritobin@charter.net" . Their lives depend upon your adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Girl, a Lincolnton Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever rescue.
