MISTY's Info...

Breed: Maine Coon Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly) Age: Adult
Sex: Female ID#: Julie/Misty/Cat Hair: Long
MISTY's Story...
Misty is approximately 8 years old, female cat. She is Main Coon and Turkish Angora mix. She is long haired by nature and enjoys her summer time shavings. When shaved, you can see striping at the base of her coat. She is very quiet and enjoys lounging in the cat tree. She enjoys being brushed and TLC. She grazes on dry food all day and enjoys a little wet food for breakfast and dinner.
Misty is in need of a home where she can relax, be with other cats (if they are docile like her), be able to be independent but nuzzle up for love when she wants it. Children are fine if they are older; loud noises seems to scare her and she is accustomed to dogs but becomes stressed easily with interaction when the dogs are active.. Misty is waiting for her forever home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MISTY, a San Diego Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
