My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hi there all of you nice people! I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am CHARLIE, and I am a six-year-old Bichon Frise little dog who is very cute! My owner became ill and could no longer take care of me, so I am here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. I came to the shelter with my sister, Susie, so maybe you'd like to adopt us at the same time. That way we'd have built-in buddies! I'll just get right to the point and share with you that I am a very special little dog with a wonderful personality who loves to play and be around people. I am cuter than cute, and that is the truth! I love going for walks, and I enjoy the company of other dogs. I just know in my heart that there is a special person or a special family out there who will love me and provide me with a new "FUR"EVER home! I'd make an excellent family pet, and I'm house trained, too. I'd love to have a small yard where I could enjoy myself and get some exercise, and also I'd love to have a nice and comfy dog bed of my very own in the house so I could always be close to my person or family. My personality is delightfully sweet, and I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am a lot of fun, and I have a great smile, too. A trip to the shelter wouldn't be complete until you've had an opportunity to meet me, so just ask one of our kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the very cute and very special little Bichon whose name is CHARLIE, and we just might discover that we are meant to be best friends forever. I'm hoping that you'll come by soon to visit with me and get to know me. I think that when you meet me, you are just going to fall in love. They have wonderful exercise yards for us here at the shelter; the perfect place to get acquainted too. You can bet that I'll be watching and waiting for you! Won't you please help make my dreams come true for a new forever home? See you real soon. Love, Charlie" Kennel #29
