My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spuds--Spuds was born on the streets just north of Downtown Houston in the Hardy Street/Cavalcade area (5th Ward). He and his brother Sparky along with their mother would cross busy streets in all kinds of traffic to find food and water. Eventually they made friends with a rescuer who was able to catch them when they were about 12-weeks old.

Spuds, a Blue Healer mix, is six months old, happy, energetic and loving. He is neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on all of his vaccines and flea/heart worm prevention. Spuds is very, very smart. His trainer said he was her “star” pupil!

Until recently, Spuds had been living in a boarding facility. After a few months of kennel life, a few weeks of training and making friends, Spuds is now in a foster home with his brother, Sparky, and is on the lookout for his forever family and his forever home.
