Indi's Story...
Indi is a sweet lab mix who was found wandering from porch to porch on Sharpe Avenue. She is approximately one year old, weighs about 50 pounds, and is full of love! She loves bones and treats, and plays fetch like a champ! She loves to snuggle and she knows basic commands. She is friendly with other dogs (we’re not sure about cats yet) and is very eager to please. She is house and crate trained (love her crate, actually) and she is a fantastic companion on car rides. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Indi will do well in most homes and she would love to be with someone who will spend time with her and give her daily walks. If you are interested in meeting Indi, please contact East CAN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indi, a Nashville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
