I am purebred, a special needs pet, and not good with kids.
Hi friends! I'm Freeway!
I am a Dachshund with a big heart and some special considerations. I am paralyzed because of some untreated fluid build up and subsequent infection around my spinal cord. I am not able to walk, but my amazing foster uncle made me a wheelchair that I can zoom around in. Because of my paralysis I need a very special home who can give me the tender loving care that I crave and deserve.
I love to cuddle and be in your arms or in your lap. I have some special jammies that help keep me from getting sores when I run around without my wheels and I am learning how great life can be.
Because of my injuries I will do best in a home with no small kids. I need careful tender love and my foster parents will show you all of the things that I love and need. I wear diapers and need to be changed frequently; but it is something that I am getting used to and is not hard to do.
I will be neutered in the next week or so as soon as the infection clears up and will come to my forever home with everything I need to get you started.
Please consider becoming my forever family. You will make me the luckiest puppy in the whole world and I promise you will never regret it.
I would love to come over and meet you. Please review the adoption process and policies and complete an online application at www.secondhandsnoots.org. Questions or inquiries can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
