Doogie's Story...
Hi! My name is Doogie and I am a 1 year old Tibetan Terrier mix. Buster's Friends rescued me from BARC a few weeks ago where I was dropped off for no real reason. Then my foster parents picked me up last weekend and took me to their home. Since then I have been on lots of walks, played a bunch with my new foster sister and got a great bath and trim at the groomers! I have taken a lot of naps too. I really like to play fetch and I like to play with my foster sister (a Westie). Kitties don't bother me much either. I can sit when there is a treat involved. I am fully house trained too and will let you know with a whine when I need to go out. My foster parents are trying to get me used to a crate. I like to sleep in there when they are out and at night. Once I am in my crate, I like to be left alone but am always happy to see you return to let me out. Please come meet me at the next Buster's Friends event.

Doogie is about one year old and Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Meet our dogs! They will be available for adoption at our weekend adoption venues!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doogie, a Houston Tibetan Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Tibetan Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Terrier breeders who help with Tibetan Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
