Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bambi is a special little dog that will bring her adopter so much joy. She's a special case and her foster mom would like to tell you all about her. We believe she was left alone and isolated for breeding purposes. She's very affectionate and loves to cuddle, but doesn't know how to play with toys. She's learning now how nice life CAN be for a dog :). As you can see in her photo, she gathers toys in her bed and cuddles with them - as if they were her puppies. She's house trained and uses puppy pads as well. She's easy to care for, taking a bath easily and she enjoys time outside with her human companions. She can appear bossy with other dogs so she needs dog companions who will let her THINK she's the leader :). The collar and leash are brand new concepts for her but she will adjust to them with time. Bambi reminds us what rescue is about -- helping those who haven't experienced kindness and need our love more than ever. To talk with her foster mom and learn more, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Bambi is fostered in Huntsville, AL by a fellow rescuer and is not affiliated with Friends of Retrievers.
