Cody's Story...
Ready for Love!

I have a very gentle disposition and a mellow personality for a young-gun like me and I must admit, it’s because I am a mama’s boy! I will stick close by your side, but not get in your way. I’ll probably curl up on my bed as you clean the house. And I’ll sit quietly in the car to pick up the kids from school. I don’t even bark at people when they walk by or at the workers in the drive-thru! I walk perfectly on the leash. I barely pull and I understand when you tell me to slow down. I am wise beyond my years, as I know many basic commands and I am totally house-trained. I would rather be on your couch watching TV than sitting here in this shelter. Do you want to be my forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Norwalk Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
