Barney's Story...
Barney is a super sweet puppy. He is about 9 weeks old, brindle and black male with white socks. He is almost housebroken and is doing great with the nicer weather. He is crate trained and loves peanut butter Kongs. He gets along well with all dogs and is very curious about cats but will leave them alone if they ask. Barney really loves to be with his people. He will follow you around from room to room just to be close to you. He really likes tug o war and shakey shakey with his toys. When you are done playing Barney is the best snuggler ever! He is happy nuzzling in being held like a baby, laying quietly next to you or he will even find a nice dog bed and take a little nap on his own. Barney is teething so he is chewing quite a bit but is not destructive...if he should pick the wrong thing to chew on he is easily redirected to a dog toy and just as happy. He is very food motivated and wants to learn. He is a very smart sensitive boy. Barney has a beautiful soft coat and is a very healthy happy puppy.

Bella’s Bully Buddies is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue pit bull type dogs from abuse, neglect and abandonment. While the dogs are in our care, we provide excellent nutrition, training and enrichment, veterinary care and lots of love in our network of foster homes. Our goal is to find each and every one of them a forever home where they will be loved as a part of the family for the rest of their lives. Through everyday interactions and community events we work to educate the public about the loyal, intelligent and loving nature that make pit bull type dogs wonderful companions and family members.
